Facilities Maintenance / Grounds

Role

The Facilities Maintenance / Gardener person will, under the direction of the Principal / Assistant Principal or the Business Manager, be responsible for the maintenance of buildings and associated structures, to ensure that all areas are maintained regularly. Ensure weekly, monthly and annual tasks are performed within timelines as outlined by the manager. Undertake required training / professional development should it be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and improving theschool grounds (especially lawns, gardens and recreation areas), facilities and buildings
• Undertaking regular routine inspections and identify issues requiring maintenance.
• Undertaking routine repairs, cleaning and maintenance of the facilities.
• Work with contractors to attend to tasks that require registered tradespeople and ensure OHS requirements in relation to sub-contractors are met.
