Maintains the facilities, equipment, machinery and systems for minimum downtime and maximum efficiency.
- In the process of repairing or conducting maintenance on machinery, must understand and follow all applicable lockout/tag out and other safety procedures.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area both in the shop and wherever work is performed throughout the plant. Cleans up work areas after use or on a daily basis. Removes all waste or surplus materials to scrap or storage areas.
- Maintains and repairs miscellaneous items of mechanical equipment throughout the plant.
- Maintains clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, parking lots, and other work areas.
