The Groton Facilities Engineering department is seeking a seasoned mechanical engineer to provide maintenance and troubleshooting support for the 120+ year old Groton shipyard, the new facilities under construction, and local sites. Additional activities include designing and executing infrastructure construction projects.

Responsibilities for project management include engineering and developing the scope of work, preparing bid documents, vendor selection, securing funding, preparing purchase requisitions, safety and environmental compliance, in field project management of vendors and EB personnel while maintaining the project budget, schedule, and docume...
