Join us as a Facilities Technician in our Kansas City, KS plant, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment. This is a second shift position (2 pm - 10 pm), working throughout the week, with a starting hourly pay rate of $37.93. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values technical expertise, innovative problem-solving, and a strong commitment to safety. Your contributions will directly support our mission of delivering world-class products while ensuring our facility remains top-tier. A Glimpse of Your Responsibilities: Technical Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose, repair, and maintain building equipment assets, such as natural gas-fired boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, and oxidizers. Facility Systems Maintenance: Perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical tasks to ensure optimal operation of plant systems and equipment. Project Leadership: Evaluate work orders, determine project scope and procedures, and guide installation, maintenance, and repair projects while mentoring fellow technicians. Safety & Compliance: Consistently enforce safety, health, and quality protocols to contribute to our production objectives. Customer Service & Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with plant partners, respond urgently to facility issues, and conduct daily rounds to anticipate and resolve facility needs. We Are Looking for Candidates Who Have: A High School Diploma or GED. Experience in facility maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing context, particularly with building systems like HVAC, boilers, chillers, air compressors, and electrical power distribution. Proven ability to execute preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot equipment problems, and guarantee that all systems operate safely and efficiently. Knowledge of standard tools, equipment, materials, and best practices in building maintenance. Expertise in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Capability to read, interpret, and work from sketches, blueprints, and technical drawings. Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory requirements regarding facility operations. What's Next?
