Hiring: Facilities Supervisor (Laboratory)
York | Full-time | 6–8 Month Contract
We're looking for a Facilities Supervisor to support the day-to-day running of a busy laboratory facility in York. This role would suit someone with hands-on laboratory experience, including junior candidates looking to take the next step.
Key responsibilities:
Supporting daily lab operations and equipment upkeep
Coordinating maintenance and liaising with contractors
Assisting with inductions and user communication
Monitoring stock levels
Ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 / ISO 9001 and safety standards
What we're looking for:
Experience working in a laboratory environment
Understanding of quality standards (ISO 17025 or ISO 9001)
Good organisational and communication skills
Ability to follow procedures and maintain records
Molecular lab experience is beneficial but not essential
