Job Description

The Factory Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the factory to ensure that production targets are met safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. The role involves managing production schedules, resources, equipment, and a team of supervisors and operators while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to ensure products are produced on time and within budget.

Manage production schedules and adjust as needed due to operational changes or customer demands.

Monitor production such as output, efficiency, downtime, and quality.

Lead and supervise production staff, ensuring proper training and development.

Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure product quality standards are met.

Implement and monitor lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure health & safety compliance in accordance with internal policies and legal regulations.

Manage production costs and ensure optimal use of resources and materials.

Communicate with procurement, logistics, and other departments to ensure supply chain efficiency.

Generate regular production reports for senior management.

Oversee day-to-day operations on the site and ensure smooth execution of tasks.

Monitor the progress of the project and produce reports on performance, delays, and risks.

Coordinate and manage subcontractors, workers, and site personnel.

Ensure work complies with quality standards and legal requirements (e.g., building codes, safety laws).

Conduct regular inspections and enforce safety regulations and protocols.

Manage site logistics, including materials, deliveries, and equipment.

Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Address and resolve any issues or emergencies on-site.

Maintain accurate site records, including time sheets, schedules, and incident reports.
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture, Manufacturing, or related field.

Qualification:

15+ years of experience in a Woodwork production and manufacturing leadership role.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards.

Strong communication and decision-making skills.

Strong knowledge of Fixation methods, health and safety standards, and legal regulations.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Proficient in project management tools and MS Office.

Problem-solving mindset and strong organizational skills.
