Family Law Paralegal – Divorce & Asset Division
San Antonio, TX

I am working directly with the owner of a boutique family law firm in San Antonio that focuses on complex divorce matters, particularly asset division and property characterization. The firm is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal with 5+ years of family law experience to support its practice.

This Family Law Paralegal role is ideal for someone comfortable handling substantive casework, managing deadlines, and supporting attorneys in high-asset divorce matters.

Key Responsibilities:


  • The Family Law Paralegal will support attorneys in divorce and family law matters involving asset division and financial issues.
  • Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, discovery, and financial disclosures; maintaining and tracking billable time; managing case files and court deadlines; assisting with trial and mediation preparation; and communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.

Qualifications:


  • Ideal Family Law Paralegal candidates will have at least 5+ years of family law paralegal experience
  • Strong familiarity with Texas family law procedures and experience in billing time.
  • Board Certification as a Family Law Paralegal is a plus.
  • Candidates must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple matters simultaneously.

Compensation & Benefits:


  • This Family Law Paralegal opportunity offers a salary range of $55,000–$80,000, depending on experience.
  • Highly qualified paralegals with compensation expectations above $80,000 will be considered.
  • Benefits include employee-paid healthcare, firm closure on federal holidays, paid sick time, and PTO.
