70 miles to Wilmington International Airport (ILM)
80 miles to Raleigh Durham International Airport (RDU)

Responsibilities

  • Hospitalist with intensive care experience and interest.
  • Work with a team of experienced and highly skilled physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
  • 12 ICU beds with average daily “hospitalist” census of 45 patients (10 ICU).
  • 12 hour shifts 7 on 7 off rotation (Monday-Sunday) or modified options.
  • No nights
  • EMR – Epic
  • 6:00am to 6pm 2 MDs and 2 Mid-levels working on a 7:00am – 7:00pm shift.
  • 10-14 patients per provider.
  • Specialty backup: Cardiology, GI, Nephrology, General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, ENT, Pulmonary 

    • Qualifications

  • Provider will be rounding, admitting and discharging
  • Provider will be rounding in ICU, so will need ICU experience and interest
  • Intubation and line placement procedures required.
  • Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Provider will be rounding, admitting and discharging
