FM & Derm Residency Program
BC/BE Family Medicine Hospitalist Nocturnist to join its hospitalist service to work approximately 10-12 shifts a month. We seek a skilled and experienced physician who maintains a strong focus and commitment to providing outstanding and compassionate care to all patients.
Highlights Include:
Rounding on Adult and Pediatric patients (great mix for individual who wants inpatient work and ability to care for patients of all ages Flexible scheduling of shifts, 8P-8A, 12-hour shifts Inpatient clinical responsibilities including admissions, discharges, consults, and transfers ICU management including rounding, running codes, vent management, and intubations Attend caesarian sections and round in the newborn nursery (NRP certification is required) Work independently; on-call specialists available by phone Nocturnist can expect to have 4-5 patient encounters per night with an average of 3-4 Emergency Department admissions Wide scope of services provided at hospital including General Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care and Urology Ability to live in close proximity to Raleigh or Wilmington, North Carolina Family friendly community with an affordable cost of living Competitive compensation and benefits package In addition to a competitive compensation and benefits plan, qualified applicants may also be eligible for loan repayment, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.
