Flexibility to split with outpatient Family Medicine or Internal Medicine if desired Pay incentive for extra shifts Full-time equivalent = 24 weeks/year Well-established Hospitalist program and “Top 100 Rural Hospital in America” 160-bed hospital and Level III Trauma Center Schedule: 7 on 7 off, 12 hour shifts. Hospitalists will cover Med/Surg & ICU, including ventilator co-management with intensivist, RT, and remote support from Duluth Current team is 10 physicians and 2 NPs Opportunity to teach and precept medical and PA students, and for future program leadership 13-16 patients per day, per hospitalist (rounding and admitting) Average inpatient practice volume per day: Med Surg-50 / ICU-10. Average daily census on unit: 50-60 Certified Primary Stroke Center, co-management with stroke neurology, growing cardiovascular program, and top-performing sepsis care Hospitalist team runs codes and rapid responses No procedures required (general surgery performs central lines) Excellent compensation package, paid malpractice insurance, relocation, and benefit package Fellowship:
