Family Office Sr. Accountant

Our client a high net worth Family Office has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant to join their Accounting Department.. This role offers a hybrid work model, . You will play a critical role in managing full-cycle accounting for a diverse portfolio of family-owned businesses, with opportunities to grow and take on increasingly complex responsibilities over time. This position requires a blend of bookkeeping, administrative tasks, and sophisticated accounting duties, including year-end processes and tax preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Handle full-cycle bookkeeping for corporations, trusts, and guardianships using various accounting software.

• Perform bank reconciliations and manage multi-currency investment transactions, including foreign exchange bookings for US-based transactions.

• Prepare payable invoices, organize backups for invoices and cheques, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
