The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) invites applications from team-oriented Family Physicians to provide Transitional Care (short stay) bed coverage in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada.
The Physicians provide services for the transitional care units located at Pioneer Lodge (~15 beds) and Moose Jaw Special Care Home (~20 beds).

The physician will be a part of a rotation where a group of physicians will provide approximately 10 hours of physician services per week to the transition bed service. Bed clients.

The Physician is expected to provide all necessary medical care to clients at both locations, including but not limited to:


  • History and physical assessment with care plan within 72 hours of admission;

  • In person weekly multidisciplinary rounds at each facility;

  • Availability to attend to medical needs via phone/fax/in person 7 days/week as needed;
