Farm Manager (maternity)

Full Time – 37 hours per week

NJC Scale 6 (£31,537 to £33,699 per annum)

A hard working Farm Manager is required to run our School Farm to cover maternity leave. The Farm is at the heart of our community work and is central to teaching and learning across the curriculum. The successful candidate will enjoy working with students of all ages and with animals.

Experience of farm work is vital. We are looking for a manager with a full driving licence, who is able to take on challenges and is willing to work flexibly as needed. The successful candidate will need strong interpersonal skills and will manage the care of both large and small animals and the school farm club. Income generation is important to the school farm and the Manager will need to be proactive in this area.
