Job Description
NewsNation is a national cable news network currently reaching approximately 75 million television households across the United States. The network is owned and operated by Nexstar Media Group (NXST). NewsNation is currently searching for a Feed Room Operator based in our Washington DC Bureau.
Responsibilities:
The Feed Room Operator will be responsible for management and operation of tuning and recording multiple newsgathering systems, including (but not limited to) incoming satellite, TVU, LiveU, LTN, multiple online video conferencing systems (Zoom, Skype, etc.)
Q ualifications:
+ 3-5 years’ t elevision newsgathering or satellite experience required
+ Must work well in a collaborative team environment, be able to multitask. A pr oblem solver and quick thinker to resolve existing issues and to find work arounds is essential.
+ Good communication skills and the ability to quickly multi-task is essential.
