 Job Description: 

This position will be responsible for the technical support related sales tasks. The Field Application Engineer (FAE) will support the (Regional Sales Manager) RSMs to help on Abracon products business design funnel wins. He/She has to develop and maintain relationships with technical staff at I target customers or distributors. Communicate frequently internally to team, peers and senior management regarding opportunities, regional top projects, and major technical issue (Eg. RMA). Team up with engineering, inside sales, and related support staffs to ensure end-to-end customer sales and satisfaction, thereby driving new revenue growth. A team player who collaborates with all of sales regarding customer concerns. Works with various teams throughout the company in Asia Pacific, counterparts and Headquarters.

Responsibilities: 

  • Co-work with RSMs for local demand creation business growth.
  • Provide sales and technical support to local customers. 
  • Support seminar, product training to regional disty office especially on NPI. 
  • Co-manage certain customer relationships, core chip partnership and segment development. 
  • Respond to customer requests regarding crossing, RMA, technical enquiry.. etc.
  • Maintain Regional Top Project Design Tracking in registration & CRM.
  • Verify registration data towards our target.
  • Work collaboratively with ISRs and other functional departments within Abracon.
  • Team up AP application team to provide technical support to AP territories.

    • Technical Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required in Electronic / Electrical Engineering 
  • 5+ years of experience in at least two of the following:Frequency control and timing solutionsDC/DC and/or AC/DC power supply designMulti-band antenna design & testing (passive & active) for IoT applications.RF front-end design and wireless system characterizationWireless modules for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GNSS, Sub-GHz, and CellularLTE & GNSS hardware/firmware design experience would be a plusBluetooth & WiFi hardware/firmware design experience would be a plus

    • Skills:

  • Knowledge of MCU-based embedded design and/or power conversion design (AC/DC, DC/DC) is a strong asset
  • Demonstrated experience with Power Point, Excel and other Microsoft applications.
  • Personal accountability and strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as successfully contribute to a work team as an individual contributor.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in order to:Present the company brand and company values Communicate effectively in English (writing and oral).Knowing multiple languages is an advantage.
