A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Field Service Technician


Position type: Fulltime - Contract role

Duration: 3+ Months (Possible Extension/Hire)

Location: Syracuse/Buffalo/Rochester, NY



As a Field Service Technician, you will:
  • Install, service, and troubleshoot low?voltage cabling (Cat 3–6, fiber optic) and communications systems.
  • Configure, test, and maintain network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, IP phones, Wi?Fi systems).
  • Perform MAC (Move/Add/Change) requests, hardware break?fix, and preventive maintenance.
  • Support carrier circuit testing, UPS/power restoral, and facilities?related issues.
  • Document work orders, time/materials, and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Provide customer?facing support, explain technical issues clearly, and escalate when needed.
