Field Engineer Internship

William Charles Electric, part of MasTec’s Clean Energy and Infrastructure Group, is in search of a Field Engineer Interns for the Summer of 2026 to support our Rockford, IL office. The Field Engineer Intern will focus on assisting with providing support to the Project Manager and Construction Manager of their assigned project. General responsibilities include assisting with implementation of the project specific Quality Plan, site specific plans, material inventory and receiving.

Travel & Location: You can live anywhere in the United States. This is a traveling position encompassing work sites in the assigned project area (Missouri, Indiana, Illinois). We offer designated per diem in addition to base pay to support and help you cover living expenses during the travel.
