Dewberry is seeking a FieldEngineerwith construction related project experience in thewater and wastewatersectorsupporting projects Nationwide. Preferred candidates will have experiencemaintaininga project documentation system using Microsoft Office, SharePoint,or similar construction-oriented filing and management software. Must have experience with document management of construction submittal packages, specification packages, QA\QC documents, materials test reports, Quality Audits, preparationofsummary reports.Field Inspection experience is alsopreferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and collaborates with Quality Assurance and Quality Control staff,Project Professional Engineer,Response ManagersandEPArepresentatives as necessary to complete assignments.
  • Oversees QA/QC on projects in the field, records data, certifies projects are constructed per design requirements
  • Prepares QA/QC reports for field activities
  • Reviews daily assignment schedules and ensuresinspectionstaff are prepared and assigned to cover required inspection and materials testing duties.
  • Prepares, assembles, and distributes pre-activity meeting package/documents to construction team.
  • Attends meetings to record meeting minutes. Updates all participants with meeting resultsand changedinformation.
  • Ensurequality documents aresubmitted, logged, and reviewed daily and then posted for access by various project participants.
  • Required Skills & Required Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Engineeringorrelated field
  • 2+ years ofrelevantexperience
  • Proficiencywith document management software and construction managementsoftwareMicrosoft Office products,SharePoint, and other Project and Construction Management programs.
  • Excellent communications and client relations skills
  • Must have the ability to work as a team player
