**Role Title:** Field Sales Leader - Victoria
**Location:** Melbourne, Victoria
**Hours:** Full-time, Permanent
**Reporting to:** Mars Wrigley Field Sales Director
**About the Role**
Selling Chocolate, can only mean happiness. Imagine leading a team of expert Chocolate sellers! **Mars Wrigley** has that exact opportunity available in our **Field Sales Leader** role.
Reporting into the Field Sales Director, you will become a valued member of the Field Leadership Team. You will be responsible for engaging and developing our field associates by creating an environment where they are focused, supported and can see the value they are delivering to the wider business.
You will lead from the front, building a diverse team of high calibre sales associates that develop strong customer relationships, drive results through effective selling techniques, and create efficiencies by directing work through 3rd party resources.
_This role will require travel which may include overnight stays._
**What will be your key responsibilities?**
+ Lead the Field team in achieving appropriate call coverage, to deliver sales targets and drive excellence in physical availability.
+ Educate and engage Associates on the National Field strategy, developing state specific strategies to unlock and embed national ambitions.
+ Develop a State Strategy that feeds into the National Framework to highlight, prioritise and accelerate results for your team.
+ Drive consistent communication and motivation of your team through the successful management of State based meetings.
+ Proactively develop, lead and direct a team of Field Sales Representatives/Managers to achieve State & National business objectives
+ Execute promotional plans in store to maximise sales opportunities in areas of responsibility, ensuring state compliance to agreed executions, planograms and terms deliverables.
**Your Unique Ingredients:**
+ Prior experience in Field Sales Management roles, FMCG experience is preferable (not essential)
+ Strong commercial awareness, selling and negotiation skills with a demonstrated drive for results and passion for sales
+ Proven track record of delivering results and comfortable operating in a KPI driven environment and taking action to address gaps and strive for continuous improvement
+ Strong numeracy, analytical and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to think creatively and effectively apply a mixture of logic and experience to solve problems
+ Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build strong and influential relationships with diverse stakeholders
