Job Summary:
The Field Sales Executive is responsible for generating Revenue, Volume and GP by promoting and selling mainly for Oceanfreight services to customers. This role requires extensive knowledge of logistics, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Job Purpose:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential customers and leads through market research, cold calling, networking, and other means to expand the customer base through pipeline development.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong and long term relationships with potential customers to understand their needs.
- Quoting: Prepare and present rates based on the customer's requirements by using default system.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions for tenders and RFQ’s, including rates and service levels
