Field Service Engineer – Automation – International – French Speaking – Home Based - Permanent – £50–60k base salary + overseas uplift + overtime (£75–80k OTE)
Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to support the commissioning, servicing and maintenance of automated systems across Europe and beyond.
This Field Service Engineer role requires good, practical French. You must be able to communicate technical detail in French on site. “Holiday French” will not be sufficient.
The successful Field Service Engineer will be a hands-on, versatile engineer with a blend of electrical, controls and mechanical skills rather than a pure controls specialist.
Key aspects of the Field Service Engineer role include –
* Electrical and PLC commissioning using Siemens S7-1500 PLCs and TIA Portal (v18 / v19)
* PLC fault-finding on live systems (rather than full software development)
