Job Description
The Field Service Engineer will support automated equipment as it is deployed to customers. The role requires frequent travel to customer sites to oversee machinery installations, perform debugging, and ensure successful equipment startup. Training customers on machinery operation and maintenance is also a key part of the role.
Responsibilities
+ Travel to customer sites for machinery installs and debugging approximately three weeks per month.
+ Perform software (PLC) and machinery debugging and startup on-site.
+ Train customers on machinery operation and maintenance.
+ Coordinate with customers and the home office as needed.
+ Provide remote customer support over the phone when not traveling.
+ Deliver excellent customer service through strong communication and presentation skills.
