We are currently seeking an experienced **Senior Field Service Technician (FSE)– Greece & EMEA** to join our team, based in the Athens area. While the role is primarily focused on supporting operations in Greece, it also provides opportunities to contribute to selected projects across the EMEA region.

**What you’ll do:**



+ Perform on‑site installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of Eaton equipment, ensuring safe and high‑quality execution.

+ Support customers across Greece and, when required, assist with selected service activities in the wider EMEA region.

+ Troubleshoot technical issues on UPS systems and related power equipment, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime.Carry out preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and reliability of Eaton’s installed base.

+ Deliver excellent service to customers by ensuring clear communication, professionalism, and strong technical support.

+ Execute commissioning tasks for data‑center projects, following Eaton’s procedures and safety standards.

+ Collaborate with senior engineers on complex issues and escalate technical challenges when needed.

+ Document service activities, write technical reports, and ensure accurate maintenance records.

+ Follow all Health & Safety requirements on customer sites, ensuring compliance with Eaton’s standards and local regulations.

+ Coordinate with subcontractors or other on‑site teams when required to complete service tasks.

+ Maintain tools, equipment, and service documentation in good working order.

+ Support continuous improvement by sharing field observations and feedback with the service team.



**Qualifications:**



+ Technical education in electrical installation or a related field, along with relevant certifications.

+ 5+ years of experience working with UPS systems; experience in data‑center environments is a strong advantage.

+ Fluency in Greek and English (spoken and written).



**Skills:**



+ Three phase electrical installation and commissioning experience essential.

+ Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, SNMP, OPC, DDE, TCP/IP an advantage.

+ Programming of PLC control systems (Power Control, Generator Control, SCADA, or process control) an advantage

+ Good understanding of switch panels.

+ Communication skills / Customer Focus / Flexibility / Be able to work together with different cultures / able to follow guidance

+ High mobility within the hiring cluster and EMEA level, if requested
