PERSOL are seeking a Field Service Technician to join our National client on a full-time permanent basis.

This is a field based role with autonomy and flexibility. Based across the Perth Metro area, with occasional country trips. Full training is provided, join a technical team of 12 with a positive team culture and upskilling opportunities.

As a Service Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing mobility equipment, supporting improved mobility for individuals in aged care, hospitals, and residential settings. This role is field-based and requires both technical ability and empathy when working with vulnerable clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mobility equipment in the field (hospitals, aged care, residential homes).
  • Service and maintain equipment such as: Hospital beds, lifters, ceiling hoists, hydrotherapy baths, air mattresses.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns.
  • Manage own workload with autonomy - jobs scheduled via iPad system.
  • Maintain accurate service records and complete reports in a timely manner.
  • Deliver excellent customer service with empathy and professionalism.
  • Adhere to safety and compliance regulations.

About you:

  • Enjoy an on the road independent role with autonomy, creating strong client relationships.
  • Background in servicing technical/mechanical/electrical equipment.
    • Transferable skills welcomed (e.g., servicing cars, ATMs, or similar).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Empathy when working in aged care/hospital environments.
  • Valid WA driver's license
  • Willing and able to complete a National Police Check and medical.
