Job Description
As a
Field Service Technician, you will travel to hospital sites to complete the installation, service, and maintenance of Belimed products while providing excellent service to customers.
This could be a great fit if you possess strong mechanical aptitude and excellent customer service skills! You may have experience as a/an: Automotive Repair Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, HVAC Technician, Car Wash Mechanic, Machinist’s Mate, Boiler Technician, Generator Technician, Forklift Technician, Appliance or Equipment Repair Technician, etc.
Training: 90 days of on-the-job training in your region and 3 weeks of classroom training in your first year at our Charleston, SC headquartersThis is a remote, home-based position traveling around the Reno area and covering within a 2-4 hour driving radius. Additional travel, including some overnights, during the first 90 days may be necessary for training purposes.Compensation: $32/hour

Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using test instrumentsMeasure and adjust digital and analog instrumentation using calibration equipmentInstall, modify and repair Belimed and/or 3rd party equipmentManage customer base effectively; prioritizing customer needs and balancing preventive maintenance (PM) workload with daily repairsDemonstrate correct usage and application of equipment to customersConduct product in-service trainings as requiredComplete service reports, timesheets, expense reports and parts lists in a timely and accurate mannerMaintain an organized work vehicle with necessary tools, manuals and parts required to provide efficient repairs and installationsMonitor customer chemical orders, contract sales and renewalsPromote and maintain good customer relations through high standards of professionalism, ethical behavior, maturity and good judgment What you need to succeed
High school diploma or equivalent3+ years of experience with industrial electrical single and 3-phase wiring and controlsExperience troubleshooting water and pneumatic process controlsExperience using diagnostic test equipment, volt-ohm meters, amp probes and precision temperature and pressure calibration equipmentAbility to perform piping of copper, brass and stainless steel pipingAbility to read and red-line P&ID and electrical schematicsModerate technical aptitude; general computer skills with the ability to communicate effectively via e-mailAbility to lift at least fifty pounds unassistedAbility to climb over and crawl under equipmentAbility to travel extensively with little notice prior to travelMust have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving recordAbility to work nights, weekends and holidays as business need dictatesAbility to maintain compliance of all credentialing requirements in order to access customer sites Join our team and take your career further.
