Field Service Technician - Solar

Solar Gaines is growing, and we are looking to add a service technician to our expanding team.

The solar service technician coordinates service requests, troubleshoots, and resolves issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•   Diagnose and repair malfunctioning solar systems and electrical components.


• Complete tasks safely, correctly, and on schedule.
• Ensure PPE, tools, and equipment assigned are maintained in good working condition or replaced as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience working with commercial and residential PV systems.


• Working knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes as they relate to solar PV installations and inspection compliance.
• Demonstrated knowledge of DC electrical.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Experience reading blueprints, plans, and manufacturer specs.
