Field Service Technician

Summary

: The field service technician will provide field service and support for various marine (workboat) electronic and hydraulic control systems such as electro-hydraulic steering, engine controls, vessel automation, monitoring and related equipment.

Prepare for each work assignment by studying wiring diagrams, drawings and related specifications and understanding all requirements prior to proceeding with work.

Travel to jobsites in provided (take-home) vehicle, primarily along the US Gulf Coast, but also to other parts of the US (flying when requested) and infrequently overseas.

Verify that company’s equipment is properly installed, wired and/or plumbed, according to the drawings and specifications provided.

Terminate field wiring, calibrate equipment and demonstrate satisfactory operation to customer and/or regulatory authorities.
