Job Description
Field Service Technician: Transfer to customer plant for diagnosis and repair of equipment to Branson specification. Provide training programs on various Branson technologies upon client request. In this role, your responsibilities will be:
- Provide remotesupport to clientsvia telephone or email.
- Identify and correct toolingsetup problems on the client’sproduction line.
- Application of policies and strategies to obtain short-term results (1 year or less).
- The issuesare difficult or of moderate complexity.
- Influences externalpeople (client) in area of responsibility regarding procedures, practices, and policies
For this role, you will need:
- - 1 to 3 years of technical experience required.
- - Good electro/mechanical skills (electrical & electronics).
- - Ability to read and interpret design and layout drafting.
- - Ability to troubleshoot equipment and processes at field.
- - Must possess a valid driver’s license and US visa.
- - Good communications skills in both written and oral form.
- - Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- - Service oriented.
- - Fluent communication in English.
- - Ability to travel.
- - Tijuana and MX area.
Preferred qualifications that set you a part:
- Typically, 5+ years of professional experience in a service shop or similar mechanical/technical role before transitioning to field service is preferred.
- Specialized Technical Training/Education: technical field (like electronics, industrial maintenance, computer science, or engineering)
- Diagnostic Proficiency: In-depth understanding and experience with diagnostic tools and software used for the specific equipment (e.g., mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems).
- Reading Schematics: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
