Role and Responsibilities:
The Field Service / Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for the assembly, installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automation systems at customer sites. The role requires understanding project requirements, coordinating with customers, ensuring timely project execution, and providing technical support for laser marking machines, communication networks, and associated field devices .
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage and execute all on-site activities , acting as the primary interface with customers and/or third-party installation and commissioning teams.
- Lead on-site technical discussions, meetings, and reviews , ensuring alignment with company guidelines and project objectives.
- Test and commission automation projects as per customer and project requirements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all Site projects.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally , ensuring high service quality and supporting customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements throughout project execution.
Qualifications:
- Education: ITI / Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics or Mechanical.
- Experience: Fresher to 1–2 years of experience, preferably with hands-on exposure to site activities and commissioning in automation projects.
- Willingness to travel extensively as per project/site requirements.
- Experience in PLC based Automation projects will be an added advantage.
- Strong skills in managing customers and site activities as per contract terms, including installation and commissioning responsibilities.
