What You Will Get To Do:
SS&C is searching for a proactive Field Services Engineer to support technical operations and infrastructure delivery at our Parramatta site. You’ll work closely with senior team members to maintain desktop systems, AV/VC setups, and assist with inventory and end-user support.
- Provide hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, and network-connected devices
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot end-user equipment, video conferencing systems, and basic network issues
- Maintain user access, data integrity, and system security protocols
- Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and nontechnical users
- Assist with hardware/software upgrades and asset lifecycle tasks
- Participate in IT infrastructure projects and team initiatives
- Support training efforts for basic applications and tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and deliver service excellence
- Help manage inventory and AV/VC equipment for the Parramatta site
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years, or High School with 4+ years of related experience
- Solid foundation in desktop support and infrastructure troubleshooting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic IT environment
- Ability to follow procedures and contribute to process improvement
