Position Summary
The Field Supervisor oversees 15–20 field crews delivering residential and commercial telecommunications services. This role ensures safe, high‑quality execution of aerial and underground construction, maintenance, engineering, design, and utility locating activities. The Field Supervisor coordinates daily operations, resolves field issues, ensures compliance, and drives productivity across multiple project sites.

Crew Leadership: Supervise 15–20 crews, assign daily workloads, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Aerial Construction: Oversee pole work, strand and fiber placement, lashing, make‑ready corrections, and aerial restoration.
Underground Construction: Manage conduit installation, trenching, directional boring, vault placement, and splice case placement.
General Maintenance: Ensure timely repair/maintenance of existing telecom infrastructure, including service outages and emergency response work.
Engineering & Design Coordination: Review field designs, redlines, and engineering packages; ensure constructability and adherence to standards.
Utility Locating: Oversee locating activities, verify markings, and ensure safe digging practices to prevent damages.
Project Management: Track progress, maintain documentation, monitor production goals, and report issues or delays.
Quality & Compliance: Perform field inspections, enforce safety regulations, and ensure work meets client and industry specifications.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary field contact; coordinate with project managers, contractors, customers, and permitting or utility partners.

Skills and Requirements
3–5+ years of telecommunications field experience (aerial/underground preferred).
Prior leadership experience managing large field crews.
Strong knowledge of OSP construction methods, safety standards, and telecom specifications.
Ability to read construction plans, fiber maps, and engineering drawings.
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
Valid driver’s license; ability to travel between job sites.
