Field Technician

TEKsystems is looking for a Field Technician to assist a client, in the Charleston area, facilities. This role will support very central locations in the area with a team to support. This position is crucial to keep the infrastructure up for outages and customer needs.

Top Skills' Details

Working knowledge of fiber circuits, MPLS and other LAN/WAN data circuits.

• Skilled in the termination and troubleshooting of various cabling types to include fiber.

• Knowledge of fiber terminations, data circuits, 48V and 135Vdc power plants.

• Experience with DC plant systems, LAN and wireless testing, fiber optic test equipment, and various cabling types.

• Familiarity with cable identification, terminating cables, and Channel Banks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Electrical/Electronic experience and SCADA knowledge are a plus.
