Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a Field Technician for our client in the Pittsburgh, PA area.
Summary: -Assists with the planning, directs and coordinates activities pertaining to various tank / pressure vessels / piping inspection projects. Function as both an inspector / examiner under API / PaDEP and is responsible for all inspection and examination activity regarding pressure vessels, storage tanks, piping, heat exchangers, structures, and other plant related equipment.
The candidate will be responsible for:-Communicate all pertinent inspection & repair results to the operating area for review and recommendations.-Ensure that all such equipment complies with industry standards and requirements including PSM requirements, codes, laws, rules and regulations pertaining to the particular equipment.-Ensure that in-service or out-of-services inspections are performed consistent with recommended practices using the latest in approved techniques, technologies and proced...
