Civil & Mining Projects – Western Australia

Civil Mining Resources is seeking experienced GPS Plant Operators to join our team on long‑term FIFO civil and mining projects across Western Australia.

These roles support bulk earthworks, mining support services, and civil construction activities delivered across remote and regional sites. We offer stable, ongoing work within a professional and safety‑focused environment.

About the Role

As a GPS Operator , you will be responsible for operating GPS‑equipped excavators and dozers across a range of civil and mining activities, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design specifications.

Primarily Looking for

  • GPS Excavators
  • GPS Dozers

You will be required to work to design tolerances, follow construction drawings and machine control models, and support site productivity in a FIFO environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operate GPS‑controlled excavators and/or dozers across bulk earthworks and civil works
  • Work to plans, levels, and design specifications
  • Carry out trimming, profiling, and detailed earthworks
  • Conduct daily pre‑starts and routine equipment checks
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and other operators
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience operating GPS‑equipped plant (excavators and/or dozers)
  • Civil construction and/or mining project experience
  • Proven ability to work to GPS machine control systems and tolerances
  • Strong safety awareness and attention to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a site team
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence (minimum Class C)

Mandatory Requirements

  • Construction White Card (classroom‑based)
  • Ability to work FIFO rosters

You Must Be Able To Pass

  • Pre‑employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening
  • National Police Check
  • Fly in and out of Perth
