The mission of the Boston Public Health Commission (BPHC) is to protect, preserve, and promote the health and well-being of all Boston residents, particularly the most vulnerable. Transitions, a program of the Recovery Services Bureau, is a 30-day crisis stabilization program for homeless men and women with substance use disorders.
Wyman Recovery Home is a 4-6-month residential recovery home for recently incarcerated and court involved men. As 7-day/24-hour facilities, there are three shifts that make use of Fill-In Counselors. Duties vary from shift-to-shift. The following is a list of some of the responsibilities that a Fill-In Counselors may have through the course of employment.
