Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly reliable Finance & Accounting Manager to manage end-to-end accounting, payroll, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting for both Indian and US operations. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in bookkeeping, statutory compliances, payroll systems, cash flow management, and internal asset audits, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping
β€’ Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts for Indian and US entities.
β€’ Handle Indian accounting using Tally and US accounting using Quick Books.
β€’ Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and month-end closings.
β€’ Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Payroll Management
β€’ Manage Indian payroll using KEKA, including salary processing, statutory deductions, and reports.
β€’ Manage US payroll using Gusto, ensuring accurate salary payouts and tax deductions.
β€’ Coordinate payroll compliances and employee reimbursements.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
β€’ Handle Indian compliances including GST, Income Tax, RBI, and other applicable statutory filings.
β€’ Manage US tax compliances including Sales Tax, Federal Tax, State Tax, and other regulatory filings.
β€’ Ensure timely returns, payments, and documentation for audits and assessments.
β€’ Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and tax advisors when required.
Cash Flow & Financial Management
β€’ Monitor and manage daily cash flow and fund utilization.
β€’ Prepare cash flow forecasts and working capital planning.
β€’ Control expenses and support cost optimization initiatives.
Client & Vendor Financial Management
β€’ Manage client invoicing, billing cycles, and revenue tracking.
β€’ Monitor receivables, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain aging reports.
β€’ Handle vendor onboarding, payments, and payable management.
Project Costing & Financial Analysis
β€’ Prepare project-wise costing and profitability analysis.
β€’ Track project expenses against budgets.
β€’ Support management with financial insights for decision-making.
Financial Reporting
β€’ Prepare MIS reports, P&L statements, balance sheets, and management dashboards.
β€’ Generate periodic financial reports for leadership review.
β€’ Ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
Asset Management & Internal Audit
β€’ Maintain records of company assets and depreciation.
β€’ Conduct internal asset audits and ensure compliance with internal policies.
β€’ Support statutory and internal audits with required documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
β€’ Strong working knowledge of Tally, Quick Books, Gusto, and KEKA.
β€’ Practical experience in India and US accounting and payroll systems.
β€’ Sound understanding of GST, Income Tax, RBI, and US tax compliances.
β€’ Strong analytical, reporting, and reconciliation skills.
β€’ High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance orientation.
β€’ Ability to manage multiple entities and deadlines independently.

Preferred Experience:
β€’ Experience handling India & US operations simultaneously.
β€’ Exposure to multi-state US tax filings and sales tax compliances.
β€’ Experience in internal audits and asset verification.
