Purpose of the Role
To support accounting activities by handling day-to-day financial and administrative tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the business.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Record daily financial transactions in accounting systems
- Produce and manage quotations and purchase order; Process invoices, payments, and expense claims
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts
- Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Help with payroll processing and related records
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Provide administrative support to senior accounting staff
