FINANCE CONTROLLER – GENETIC TESTING / BIOTECH –BARCELONA

FULL TIME- (NEG DEPENDANT UPON EXPERIENCE)

The Finance Controller is a key member of the Finance department, providing accounting support to the regional office of a UK listed predictive genetics business (GENinCode Plc). This role supports the finance team delivering accurate reporting, cost control, and performance analysis.

Key activities include stock control and COGS recognition, supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts and general accounting.

• Support monthly reporting analysis: P&L, Balance and Cash flow – Carry forward.
• Perform variance analysis and provide insights into operational performance.
• Monitor and evaluate profitability, margins, and cost efficiency across business units.

• Maintain stock control and COGS recognition, looking at efficiencies and variance analysis.
