Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain the general ledger and all accounting processes from scratch.
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including AR, AP, payroll, reconciliations, journal entries, and month/year-end close.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).
- Develop financial reports, dashboards, budgets, and cash flow plans.
- Ensure audit readiness, documentation standards, compliance, and support for tax preparation.
- Implement internal controls, accounting policies, and accounting software.
- Oversee cash management, vendor relations, payments, and payroll.
- Prepare data for due diligence, investors, lenders, and potential buyers.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (bookkeeping → controller level).
- Strong GAAP knowledge and experience producing audit-ready financials.
