Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain the general ledger and all accounting processes from scratch.
  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including AR, AP, payroll, reconciliations, journal entries, and month/year-end close.
  • Prepare and maintain financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).
  • Develop financial reports, dashboards, budgets, and cash flow plans.
  • Ensure audit readiness, documentation standards, compliance, and support for tax preparation.
  • Implement internal controls, accounting policies, and accounting software.
  • Oversee cash management, vendor relations, payments, and payroll.
  • Prepare data for due diligence, investors, lenders, and potential buyers.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (bookkeeping → controller level).
  • Strong GAAP knowledge and experience producing audit-ready financials.
