About The Position

Aqua Security is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Controller to join our Finance team.

This role is ideal for someone with around two years of post-internship experience, preferably from a Big 4 firm and within high-tech companies, ideally in the SaaS industry. We are looking for a curious, hands-on individual who is excited to gain broad exposure across finance and accounting, including accounting, tax, revenue recognition, and FP&A.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor bookkeepers and perform accounting analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare monthly payroll databases and collaborate with external payroll service providers across multiple regions
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and maintenance of an accurate general ledger
  • Work closely with subsidiary teams worldwide, providing guidance and ongoing support to local finance teams
  • Support revenue recognition and billing processes, including contract reviews and deferred revenue tracking
  • Handle tax filings and statutory compliance, working closely with external auditors and tax advisors across different jurisdictions
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial aspects of the purchasing process, including spend tracking and budget controls
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, and HR, and contribute to finance process improvements and ad-hoc financial analyses

    Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in high-tech companies, preferably in a SaaS environment - a must
  • CPA with Big 4 firm experience - a must
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite - an advantage)
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
