We're seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Data Analyst to join our clients high-performing finance team. In this role, you'll work at the intersection of financial modelling, pricing analysis, and data-driven strategy-delivering key insights that shape business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, business cases, and scenario analysis.
  • Maintain pricing and financial data to support reporting, compliance, and internal controls aligned with AASB standards.
  • Produce pricing reports, dashboards, P&L summaries, variance analysis, and KPI reporting.
  • Provide commercial and operational insights to stakeholders across Finance, Sales, and Commercial teams.
  • Support pricing strategy through margin analysis, price reviews, and recommendations to drive profitability.
  • Continuously improve reporting processes using Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems.
  • About You

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 1-5 years' experience in financial analysis, pricing, commercial finance, or management accounting.
  • Strong to advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, dashboards, nested formulas, Power Query, and ideally VBA/macros.
  • Familiarity with tools like Power BI, SQL, Python, or ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Xero) is a bonus.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Naturally curious with a keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset.
