Finance Executive

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Data Analyst to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, excellent Excel skills, and a solid understanding of financial data and reporting. As a Data Analyst in the Finance team, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret financial data, trends, and forecasts.
• Create, maintain, and update financial models and reports using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.).
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes by providing data insights and reconciliation.
• Assist in the preparation of budget reports and financial statements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline data collection and reporting.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data used for decision-making.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data and insights for reporting.
• Provide support for ad-hoc financial analysis and data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Experience with financial modeling and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ability to work with large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
• Good communication skills to present findings to stakeholders.
• Knowledge of financial software or tools (e.g., SAP, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis or data analysis.
• Experience working in a corporate finance environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
