Job Description
Our client is a global leader in home and building automation. We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead the Iberia finance operations, covering Spain and Portugal. This role offers the opportunity to stabilize and transform the finance function following a regional reorganization. You will manage a talented team of 7 professionals and ensure compliance with local and IFRS standards, delivering accurate reporting, robust internal controls, and strategic financial insights.
This is a 12-month contract (with potential for future opportunities in the Group), focused on process optimization and transformation management across several projects planned for 2026 within the Finance department. As Finance Manager, you will be a key partner in driving financial excellence across Iberia. Team Leadership: Manage and develop the finance team, assigning tasks, providing support, and ensuring high performance
Finance Transformation : Lead and support the integration of two companies into SAP, ensuring smooth coordination with controlling and reporting teams. Accounting Oversight : Oversee local and IFRS accounting, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, half-yearly, and annual closings.
Compliance & Control : Implement and monitor internal controls, ensuring regulatory and tax compliance across markets
Audit Management: Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with corporate and legal requirements
Strategic Finance Leadership: Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management, supporting mergers, acquisitions, and business decisions
Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Experience: +8 years in finance, with at least 4 years in a leadership role
Leadership & Management: Proven experience in leading finance teams and managing diverse stakeholder
Strong knowledge of IFRS, local taxation, and compliance requirements
Finance Transformation: Experience with SAP integration, process automation, and financial system enhancements
