<p><p>Position Summary:<br/><br/>The Finance Manager will be responsible for end-to-end financial management of the organization, encompassing accounting, financial planning, statutory and regulatory compliance, taxation, audits, treasury, and strategic financial advisory.<br/><br/>This role requires a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong hands-on experience managing multi-entity, multi-location operations, preferably across manufacturing, services, and international trade environments. The incumbent will work closely with the Managing Director and business heads to support both operational excellence and strategic decision-making.<br/><br/><b>Key Accounting & Reporting:</b><br/><br/>- Oversee and manage complete books of accounts for the company and all branch offices.<br/><br/>- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.<br/><br/>- Perform consolidation of accounts across multiple business verticals and locations.<br/><br/>- Establish and maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures.<br/><br/>- Monitor cost structures, margins, and profitability across business lines and projects.<br/><br/><b>Statutory, Regulatory & Tax Compliance:</b><br/><br/>Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, including:<br/><br/>- Income Tax Act<br/><br/>- GST (including multi-state registrations and compliance)<br/><br/>- Companies Act, 2013<br/><br/>- FEMA regulations (imports, exports, foreign remittances)<br/><br/>- Customs regulations<br/><br/>- Ensure timely filing of GST returns, Income Tax returns, TDS/TCS, ROC filings, and other statutory submissions.<br/><br/>- Act as the primary point of contact with statutory authorities, auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory bodies.<br/><br/><b>Audit & Risk Management:</b><br/><br/>- Coordinate and manage statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and cost audits (where applicable).<br/><br/>- Address audit observations and ensure closure of audit findings through corrective and preventive actions.<br/><br/>- Identify financial, compliance, and operational risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.<br/><br/><b>Treasury, Banking & Cash Flow Management:</b><br/><br/>- Manage cash flows, working capital, and optimal utilization of funds.<br/><br/>- Handle banking relationships, including credit facilities, letters of credit (LC), bank guarantees (BG), packing credit, and export finance.<br/><br/>- Oversee forex transactions, hedging strategies, and foreign exchange risk management.<br/><br/>- Ensure timely customer collections, vendor payments, and reconciliation of bank and inter-company accounts.<br/><br/><b>Budgeting, Forecasting & MIS:</b><br/><br/>- Prepare annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and detailed variance analysis.<br/><br/>- Develop and present MIS reports to the Managing Director and senior leadership.<br/><br/>- Provide actionable financial insights on performance trends, cost optimization, and growth opportunities.<br/><br/><b>ImportExport & International Trade Finance:</b><br/><br/>- Manage accounting, compliance, and reporting related to import and export transactions.<br/><br/>- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with Customs, DGFT, and FEMA regulations.<br/><br/>- Coordinate with logistics partners, CHAs, banks, and export incentive authorities.<br/><br/>- Track and manage export incentives, duty drawbacks, and related claims.<br/><br/><b>Business Support & Strategic Advisory:</b><br/><br/>- Partner with business heads to support pricing strategies, contracts, and commercial negotiations.<br/><br/>- Evaluate the financial viability of new projects, investments, expansions, and diversification initiatives.<br/><br/>- Support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, or strategic alliances, as required.<br/><br/>- Drive process improvements, ERP enhancements, and finance automation Accountant (CA) - Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end finance and accounts management.<br/><br/>- Exposure to manufacturing, services, and international trade environments preferred.<br/><br/>- Experience managing multi-entity and multi-location operations.<br/><br/><b>Skills & Competencies:</b><br/><br/>- Strong accounting, analytical, and financial management expertise.<br/><br/>- In-depth knowledge of Indian statutory, tax, and regulatory frameworks.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced MS Excel.<br/><br/>- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.<br/><br/>- High integrity, attention to detail, and strong ownership mindset.<br/><br/>- Ability to work independently and closely with top management.<br/><br/><b>Key Attributes:</b><br/><br/>- Strategic thinker with strong execution capability.<br/><br/>- Hands-on, solution-oriented, and pragmatic approach.<br/><br/>- Comfortable working in a fast-growing, dynamic SME environment.<br/><br/>- Willingness to travel occasionally to branch locations.</p><br/></p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
