Overall, a Finance Manager in India plays a critical role in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making to achieve business objectives. They must possess strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and leadership abilities to effectively fulfill their responsibilities.

  • Analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborating with senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth plans.
  • Leading and managing a team of finance professionals responsible for various functions such as accounting, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Lead the team in defining and documenting financial process, staff responsibilities, and recruiting and onboarding new resources.
  • Providing guidance, mentorship, and training to enhance the skills and capabilities of the finance team.
  • Serve as a point of contact for finance-related inquiries and requests.
  • Identify talent gaps and succession planning needs within the team.
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field.

  • CMA, MBA or related experience
  • 5 to 7 year experience in relevant finance and accounting roles.
  • Prior supervisory experience leading a team of finance or accounting resources.

  • Proficient in Excel.
  • MS Dynamics (Great Plains) and OneStream experience is a plus
  • This position has one or more employee direct reports.
