Job Description

On behalf of our client in Ivory coast, we are seeking to recruit a "Finance & Operation Manager" to oversee the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization. This role combines strategic financial planning, day-to-day financial management, and operational leadership to support business objectives and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

1- Financial Management:

a. Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in alignment with strategic goals.

b. Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements, and other key reports.

c. Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and ensure proper treasury operations.

d. Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.

e. Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.



2- Operational Management:

a. Supervise day-to-day operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory, and facilities management.

b. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization across departments.

c. Implement and monitor KPIs to evaluate operational performance.

d. Oversee contract management, vendor relationships, and operational risk controls.



3- Team Leadership:

a. Manage and mentor finance and operations staff.

b. Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and support business initiatives.

c. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork.



4- Strategic Planning and Support:

a. Provide financial insights and operational data to support strategic decision-making.

b. Assist in business case development for investments, expansions, or new projects.

c. Partner with executive leadership to align financial and operational goals with overall company strategy.



Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or CPA is a plus).

- 7+ years of progressive experience in finance and operations, preferably in a managerial capacity.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and budgeting.

- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
