Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Operations Assistant to join our Finance team here at Harrods. The purpose of this role is to perform daily Finance tasks such as: accounts payable, invoice matching, reconciliation , bank details approvals and resolving supplier accounts queries.

About The Role

This role will be working across all 4 finance business areas (in AR, AP, Banking, Bank Agency, Processing invoices, imports) administrative clerk essentially. As the Finance Operations Assistant you will be trained to cover the Data entry and Accounts Receivable duties to raise invoices, reconciling GL accounts, debt collection and payment allocation.

You will also;

  • Check the purchase orders and process our buying agent's payment statement each week and process the vendors invoices, invoices that have not auto-matched due to cost price differences, quantity shortages etc
  • Review email inbox throughout the day for shipment clearances from freight forwarder...
