The Company 

Our Client a leading ASX listed national property group and regarded an Employer of Choice has a great Hybrid opportunity for a motivated Finance Systems Analyst. A blended role covering Finance, Accounting & Technology, this opportunity sits within a close-knit and supportive team of experienced and high performing operators, based in their Perth office. 

 

The Role 

Reporting to the Controller – Business Planning, the primary purpose of this position is to act as the intermediary between the finance team, IT team and the business. Dealing with key internal and external stakeholders:

 

You will

  • Maintain the integrity of data and data structures within the financial and planning systems;
  • Deliver finance system enhancements, process and reporting improvements, including UAT post improvements
  • Maintain documentation of processes, system configurations, mapping and controls, including training manuals and quick reference guides.
  • Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the business’ short- and long- term financial forecasts under the direction of Controller - Business Planning.
  • Preparation and review of monthly accounting journals, reconciliations and working papers;

Must Have 

  • Tertiary qualification in either accounting / finance / IT.
  • CA or CPA qualifications highly regarded.
  • Similar experience in another entity.
  • 2 - 4 years business experience within a Finance or business systems function.
  • Track record of working in Finance system focused positions and on a range of different system projects, including cloud-based ERP systems.
  • Sound understanding of financial analysis, financial accounting, reporting and management.
  • Competent writer of reports, letters and proposals.
  • System implementation will be viewed favourable.
  • Experience with a variety of accounting / ERP systems and proven system development skills will be highly regarded. Microsoft Dynamics AX, Dynamics 365FO or Oracle Planning experience would be highly regarded.
  • Proficient in Microsoft excel, intermediate level user or higher.
  • Excellent communicator able to comfortably interact with all staff within the business and external stakeholders.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, positive person.
  • Mature, credible and comfortable in dealing with senior management.
  • Accurate, reliable, tolerant, resilient and determined, and able to take ownership of projects and see them through to completion.
  • Well-presented and professional.
  • Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability.
  • Able to get on with others and be a team-player.
