Job Description
A full-time Permanent role for a renowned non-profit organisation helping the growing local Aboriginal community in community service and healthcare, seeking a Financial Accountant, Senior Accountant or a Bookkeeper, to manage the organisations finances and liaise with company stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance accountant role
- $80,000 - $85,000 per annum
- South Eastern Melbourne, VIC
A normal day includes
- Financial reporting and analysis.
- Reviewing and approving financial transactions.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Providing support during audits.
- Supervising and training junior accountants.
- Ensuring tax compliance and handling tax-related tasks.
- Offering financial advice and insights to management.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Participating in meetings with other departments and stakeholders.
- Continuing professional development.

You will need
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial accountant role
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

- A strong desire to learn, develop and progress within this opportunity
