The Role

The accountant reports to the ANZ Finance Leader and is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of financial statements across multiple legal entities. Day-to-day duties include:

  • Prepare, post, and monitor accruals for sales and cost transactions
  • Lead the month-end close process, coordinating with AR/AP, prepayments, and fixed asset depreciation
  • Post and reconcile General Ledger entries with appropriate supporting documentation
  • Perform timely and accurate bank reconciliations
